hello everyone, i have two belated birthday announcements to make. Ok, well yesterday february 20th, was Ed Graham drummer of the Darkness' birthday and also would've been Kurt Cobain's birthday, i wouldve posted an entry yesterday but i had too much stuff to do. So I just wanna say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ED AND KURT ROCK ON DUDES! and also, I just finished writing a song in a new notebook i got that im soo excited to fill the pages in, i wrote a song for Kurt Cobain called "Lovely Flannel Hair" so um I'm gonna show it to ya right now in honour of his birthday! here it is: "Lovely Flannel Hair" -By, Brittany Cohen tell me what you think! It doesn't make me dance and I don't want to sway, I just close my eyes and feel your music all through my spine, I feel your angry tears fall into mine, shaggy hair to cover the pain in your eyes, so you wont feel exposed, behind the flannel I see your heart enclosed, write your lyrics and your tunes to make me cry, your music and lovely soul gets me by, the way you scream so loud your face turns red, I can't hear those screams anymore, I guess grunge is dead, Your backwards guitar smashed sparks flying on the floor, what were you taken away? you were the one person I truly adore, what can I do? your no longer her, but I still care, about you and your lovely,shaggy, flannel hair.
